Soraya and Isaac – Escape from Tehran by Stephanie Liss, playwright with original music by Rebbesoul

This is the story of Soraya and Isaac Nazarian, and their lives in Tehran, and their ultimate, harrowing escape, during the time of the Shah, through the Revolution into Sharia law. As Soraya says in the play – it was not a time to be a Jew, in Iran… This is Soraya’s journey as a Jewish woman, with her beloved husband, Isaac.

The play is two characters, and stars a remarkable, powerful, cast
