CBT’s education center was created by our founding Rabbi, Leonard A. Helman z”l, 1926-2013 of blessed memory. He was well known in the greater Santa Fe area for bringing people from all backgrounds together. secular and observant Jews, and non-Jews. Rabbi Hellman gathered local clergy together and taught us the value of inclusivity.
Rabbi Helman created our library where classes are held. Our programs reflect Rabbi Helman’s desire to bring all of the community together. This is how Beit Tikva came to be known as the Synagogue Different in the City Different!
