Purim is celebrated at the synagogue, with distribution of Purim baskets (mishlo’ach manot) with hamantashan baked by the religious children, Passover Seder is held at the Radisson Hotel, Shabbat dinners are held at local restaurants Adult education, participation in the national “Shabbat Across America” program and social action projects continue.

Observances of Yom Hashoah, Holocaust Remembrance Day; Yom Ha-atzmaut, Israeli Independence Day; and Shavuot, the giving of the Ten Commandments. September sees first large fund raider, “Dinner is Served” with a silent auction at the Gould home.
